The makers of Mara Varno Varghodo are back with a new farsical & situational Gujju comedy - AMTHO ATVAYO.. where you will find a girl sandwiched between her love and her father’s choice for a life partner. Her father feels that she should settle down with a respectable boy whom he has chosen while her step mother makes sure that she cannot marry the boy she loves.. Why.. well that’s what the play is all about. Her father, Amthalal is a rich man and believes that he is a 'patient' suffering from all sorts of problems (his own thinking) and is paying lots of money to his doctor for the doctor's consultation and medicines. He plans to get his daughter married to the Doctor’s son in order to save the money and get free supply of medicines for his ailments. A wise deal for a lifetime! Her step-mother's "will" is something else. Add to the mix is a smart Aunt, Amthlal's unmarried sister who believes that the girl should marry whom she loves. The daughter is very loving and caring for her father and can’t refuse anything that her father tells her to do. So what will she do? How can she marry the guy she loves the most? A cunning plan, a multi talented boy, a mad son, a doctor and a crazy lawyer add to the confusion. A not to be missed comedy brought to you by MigHT-i theatre.
